run it from there, make sure you remove the vendor.xml file 1st.

I agree, its not even the same as "oh look i got a software upgrade", not all COD files work with any radio(sfi)file.
I'm impressed that WIND is releasing so many software upgrades so quickly... i really hope the battery problem is fixed, I'm running .440 and my battery just goes down so quickly... im at 76% within 7hrs with medium usage Brightness is at 10, timeout at 10sec, FB, and twitter don't auto update. Wallpaper is optimized to 640x480, i just dont know what to do anymore to conserve battery.. i even had to start using my ipod to listen to my music as my 9900 was getting me home with like 5% or less battery life at the end of night. When i use it as a mp3 player i get about 18 hrs (Heavy Usage) is that good? like i read that some people like almost day to and a half.. with one battery.
My 9780 got me like 1.5days with everything updating, mp3, Extreme usage..

Anyone know more tips, or have I covered them all?

would be a nice app idea - the auto 3G switcher - open browser and radio switches to 3G - off browser to 2G!

would be a nice app idea - the auto 3G switcher - open browser and radio switches to 3G - off browser to 2G!

I can't use 2G, I'm on WIND we dont have a 2G network, only a 3G network. I also watch Youtube at times. so its a no go

did you guys uninstalled the previous version? did you wipe your device?

after the installation of the new software remember delete the vendor file and reset your pc.. and run loader again.

you will be ok

do a search for vendor.xml and delete the files.

One thing I have noticed is when you hold the Blackberry button to see your open apps, the number of apps displayed in each row is less than before. I think before there were 6 in each row, and now there are 5 in each.

The phone also feels more responsive early on. No lag when clicking on App icons, within apps, etc. Will continue monitoring and will post back after a few more hours.

Delete the hidden vendor file. try this: C:\User\<myUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML and delete the vendor.xml file from there.

Anyone have issues with BES based Blackberry not showing in HTML mode anymore? Ive reloaded this now 4 different times. Wiped it with BBSAK each time. Under Message Options and Email Preferences there is no option for HTML email, however my GMAIL has it and its no problem. Just dont understand why it wont show HTML anymore on BES based.

Im about to wipe it AGAIN now and try it without shrinking anything.

Ive tried so many thing, last time I installed no apps or restored anthing.
