Upgraded a few hours ago. So far everything seems fine although I've seen a couple of cases where wifi dropped out and I had to turn it off and then re-enable to get it to reconnect.

Not my typical forum (I'm mostly on 9810) but I just had a similar thing happen when doing an upgrade. What I learned is this (and I've done a lot of OS upgrades-sidegrades-downgrades, etc), after a number of upgrades your pc starts hiding files. Use Vendelete (download from CB or I can post link) to get rid of the Vendor.xml files first! Then go to your PC>Control Panel> Programs and features (install/uninstall) and UNINSTALL (not delete) all of the OS's you are not going to use this time. The only OS you want on the PC is the download you are about to put on your device. Going to the temp or download file and deleting the old OS's doesn't uninstall the actual program file, this has to be done through the control panel. Now to be fair, I had never done this before but I guess that the upgrades were each so much newer that it upgraded by date in the past, but not this last time. Once I uninstalled everything but the OS I was putting on my phone, AppLoader loaded it perfectly as always. Hope this helps and good luck--and thanks for letting me jump in on this subject--waiting patiently for this build to hit for the 9810 now!
I have done all of that. I have updated in the past, but now after going through ALLLLL of Elite's Steps I Still cannot update At all. I use Vendelete Everytime and Still Cannot update. The hidden/uncommon type files box is CHECKED to make sure EVERYTHING is in view and that Nothing is hiding. I have uninstalled, deleted, restarted my computer 5 times Wednesday Night. Just Can't update anymore.

what process do you use to shrink and install?
    BBH Tool
You can't go wrong with BBHybrids Tool as it won't let you remove anything you shouldn't.
That is what I used, and it has never worked for me. So I gave up.

They're referring to their 9900. Why's this the wrong forum?
Because except with radio and wifi off, i have yet to see a 9900 last 2,5 days like claimed above.
But my wife's'curve 9320 lasts at least 2 days!

My wife and I both have 9900's. Mine lasts about a day and I'm at around 45% with heavy use. Hers can last up to 3 days, but she rarely uses it.

Did you unplug the phone, delete the vendor files manually and then plug in the phone?

Sorry, I think I just responded to that new thread you started? I thought it may have been a typo, but wasn't sure.
Have you tried to run AppLoader as an Administrator?

Instead of "double clicking" Apploader to immediately open it, "right click" it and select "run as administrator".

I'm going to assume that you're using Windows.

    ~\Program Files\Common Files\Reasearch In Motion\AppLoader\
    ~\Users\<Your user name>\Appdata\Roaming\Research In Motion\Blackberry\Loader XML\

Delete both vendor.xml files before you plug in your phone.

If you're using Win7 or Vista, then just follow the instructions in the links I provided. If not, then tell me what version of Win you're using and I'll find it.
