ive had my 9930 for 5 days now and i absolutely love the phone, the
best blackberry i've ver had. my only issue/question is regarding the
noise the keys make when u depress them. even with the key tone off,
you can hear the click/pop of the key when pressed (in a quiet room
it's noticable). you could press the keys on my 9700 and they were
perfectly silent . has anyone else noticed this and is there a solution?
    thanks all !!!

Yes. Its just you phisically pushing the buttons. They do have some "click" to them. I think they will quiet down with use.

Yea, I have the same sound with my 9930. It's nothing too big and is normal.

Mine is barely noticeable in a quiet room. Keyboard is buttery smooth. If you think it's bad, go try anything in the curve series with those stupid little chiclets for keys.

I wish I saw this thread before starting a new one.

THe keyboard on this thing is VERY loud compared to my TOUR 9630. Its very annoying. I don't remember the in store demo being so loud, but then again that doesnt say much since its so loud in sprint stores as it is.
