There are cases on crackberry shop that use metal back. For example I think the casemate brand have some thin good cases.
Get the OEM hardshell. Awesome
Go ebay and search for those tour casing. Super cheap and good!

i just bought it and i don't even have the 9930 yet... plan on getting that next week when my contract is up :)
I've had the OB commuter and Ion Ring. The commuter was good but defeated the purpose of having "the thinnest blackberry", the ring was a waste of money. Very little protection and made it as slippery as a dead fish. Now its naked and I'll never go back. From what I have seen, the screen is incredibly scratch resistant. The rubbery back bezel insures a positive grip. And last, there is nothing like a streamlined BB in your pocket. Love it just the way it was intended to be used.
