If the form factor is going to remain the same, then how could they add AF?

because the phone is plenty thick for an AF camera despite what you hear.

Yep, that is why I asked about Form Factor, and not thickness, which is just one aspect of. If some rebooted version of the phone manages to get an AF Cam, and the FF stays exactly the same, I want to know what is being sacrificed at the expense of.....

AT&T needs to bring this phone out soon now. A single core processor phone with a low powered battery will not sell after this year.

I think AT&T should officially announce the release date and provide update on this....

...if this was why AT&T was delaying their release, to remove NFC and stick an autofocus lens in, I might be ok with it lol
Especially if there was a board problem

Well, we know why AT&T didn't release it in August, and it wasn't just because of the 9810 -- it was a "hardware" problem with the 9900.

What hardware problem has anyone identified with their Rogers 9900s or Verizon 9930s other than the crummy camera lens?

when in history has the same phone been released on multiple carriers in the same country with one carrier adding or leaving out or adding a physical portion as a camera? It would not be the same device then?
    Would it? Real question.

It's "network related" doncha know. Maybe they actually made the browser capable of loading web pages and it overloads the ATT network, so they had to slow it down.

I bought my 9900 5 weeks ago on TMO. I have no issues except for a desire to never put it down.
