Just got back from the Att store with my sweet 9900! So far its been great! The keyboard is amazing and its very snappy! So far I'm liking it better than my 9810. Mostly the form and keyboard. So far its been great!
Build quality is good track pad is a little of square but not bad enough to worry about it. Unlike the Tmo and Sprint versions the ATT doesn�t not include a leather pouch with it? Picked up a Otter Commuter case for it.
But man I�m telling ya if there�s anything that drives me nuts. I had to try and pry it out of the sales rep hands. When I get a new device I want to experience the unwrapping and setting up my self. I don�t want some curious sales rep experiencing it first hand for me. Thinking that their being helpful unpacking the case and phone to put it all together so they can play with it.
Let the customer that just spent almost $300 on their new toy to experience it first hand and savor that newness before anyone else.
Other than that great device so far, no issues yet. Congrats to everyone that got one this morning, that�s been waiting so damn long...
I went to the ATT store today knowing i was not eligible for my upgrade till December but went ahead and tried anyways and they turned me down saying i couldnt upgrade till Dec. 1. I tried calling customer service when i got home and they said I could upgrade early in 11 days. Ive waited this long whats another 11 days i guess.

I bet if you try customer service once more and ask to speak to the next level person, you could get a secured upgrade paying a small fee plus the 2 yr price.

So since you're that close I would suggest speaking the store manager (probably tomorrow.) and explain that you're within 30days of an upgrade and you want the 9900. They will most likely cut you a break and if not explain that since your contract is up in less than 30 days you'll be going to Verizon to get the same device.
Even if you have no intention of leaving its probably worth a try. Store managers have the ability to override that if you're close but often times you have to press them...
I can't seem to send or receive text messages, I've tried finding a sloution online but none have helped. If anyone knows how to fix this I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you
