download the latest OS from the phone's carrier.

    run loader.exe

plug the rebooting phone in your computer. right when the phone comes up, loader.exe should detect it. you will see your pin number show up in the drop down box.

at that very second, click "next" in the program...that should start loading the new software.

it might take a couple of times to get the timing right. this happened to me and i had to try like 4 reboots before clicking "next" worked.

    good luck.

No, you are just part of a not so exclusibe club of 9900 owners that have "bricked" phones. Those that can are sending them back under warranty, those that can't are having to wait for the problem to be understood and a fix provided...

Remove the battery for a while (15 min) then put it back.

If not solved, remove the battery and plug into PC, start update OS via Loader.exe.

I wrote out a nice long complaint about my blackberry experience and emailed it to [email protected] - I got a reply saying it won't be delivered and links to pay for technical support. Where can I send my complaints to RIM?

Yea,RIM sucks. They don't want to stand behind the product that they put out.I'm only having a small issue, not what you guys are going through. The carrier won't take care of it neither will RIM.
