    Trying to re-set up my old Blackberry bold 9900, havent got a sim card for the phone yet, and trying to connect it to the WIFI network, but apparently there is no option to connect to wifi. under connection management it only gives me the options of:
    * Mobile Network
    *Near Field Communication

    it doesnt even give me a bluetooth option?
    Can anyone help me understand how to connect to wifi and get bluetooth to work Thanks!

    You're not going to get WiFi unless you have the WiFi service books which will only get pushed if you have a BlackBerry data plan. Your Bluetooth is odd though. You might want to reload the OS, seems out of whack.

    In my experience, you should have a WiFi option, even without any service books. The solution should be the same though. Reload the OS.

    If you don't have BIS, have a look at this site: The Bold without BIS Guide (which is an updated version of this thread).

    Get blackberry desktop manager on your pc. Connect the 99 to it, select option to update OS, then select whatever os is available or use an earlier OS. The process will take about 10-15 minutes. Backup your data first using the desktop manager.
