I have been waitinng for the bold 9790 is th USA and still not here so I have been thinking about the bold 9900. my question is can you make calls using the touch screen?
You can select your contact who you wish to call, just tap the screen. For example if I wanted to call my friend Steve, I'd start to type his name, and when I see the Steve I want to call, I tap the screen where his name is, and viola!
Calling by tapping name is basic calling mechanism on most of touchscreen devices.
You can type name on home screen and I will search it.
Once listed you can touch it and it will take you to contact app and from there by touching on desired no. You can make call
