Once every couple months and I'm a heavy user... Did it for first time this summer today, I think. I don't think I'm missing out on performance... Works much better than my previous two BB phones.
agree with a bunch of folks here. I am running .580 and it seems too have become a better device as a result. I am only pulling the battery once a week and that's when I change my battery every Sunday.
The question is... is it necessary to do a regular battery pull? I can understand it if the phone has froze, or a problematic app is playing up. But pulling the battery for pulling's sake!!!!
Its great, I think many of us can agree that we used to have to pull the battery out daily. I don't even hear it as much now from people with blackberries.
used to be daily, because I was getting the spinning clock often. But ever since I've upgraded to the latest OS 7.1 .580 build I haven't had to. I believe the new Application Resource Monitor is handling things very well.
I installed it about a month ago and haven't battery pulled since. Its the most stable OS by far.
Thats great, the software has improved over time where we don't need these pulls. I don't even remember why I did pulls, probably freezes and messages/emails not arriving.
Never. I only restart when I uninstall apps or anything else that requires me to. And what's great is that a reboot takes my 9930 literally 60 seconds! Quite an improvement over 10 mins on my Tour 9630 haha!
Exactly this but I had a Curve 8520 and now a 9320.
My phone seems to have periods every few months where I'll need to pull the battery every day and then it's fine for awhile. Have to say since I downloaded the latest Rogers update (I'm on Virgin) it has been amazing and no battery pulls .... Yet
literally never except when ive downloaded a bunch of apps or removed an app, its never needed one in the entire time ive owned it (fingers crossed) its always fast and reliable
