Assuming the Bold 9900/30 will be $199.00 w/ a 2yr contract and $399.99 at retail price. I would spend $449.99 + tax, no more than $499.99. I heard someone spent $800+ on a Bold 9780! Crazy!

How much would you spend on a Bold 9900/30?

well there are pre release 9900s going for $1000+

and I will spend $599.99 when it comes out on one, which will be the no contract brand new price.

No more than 400. The 550 RRPs on Amazon/Play are beyond ridiculous, and I hope they're merely placeholder prices while we wait for the official price.

I'd say the max I'd pay is $499 no contract but that's really pushing it. I said this before but it's a shame that RIM thinks they're Apple with their premium pricing on their phones, so I'm expecting some ridiculous price for the bold touch, but I hope I'm wrong.

A 450 tag would be absolutely killer, hopefully Wind in Canada can get it down to that.

For Verizon,as an upgrade,$199.Maybe $249 if they try to fleece business users. As a non-LTE smartphone there's no way it should be more than that.

People will pay because Tmobile USA has been stuck on the crappy 9700 series forever now.

I use a 9800 on edge and would pay anything to upgrade to 3g 4g.

I am hoping for a $149 contract price so that my last NE2 gets it even closer to $100. At $199 (minus my NE2), I am not yet sure about it.

No more than $500. RIM isn't Apple, sorry to say. The price should be competitive.

I'm expecting to pay $199 with my upgrade that I've been saving for this phone.

How much would I pay? Depends how the phone actually feels in my hand, but based on what I'm expecting, I would pay up to $700.

it'll be new customer pricing + my early termination charge of $15 per month remaining in the contract, i'll assume it's $100 on a 3yr which should work out to $250+tax when it's released next month
