I have seen some people saying that .585 has good battery life and they put in the radio file from .503 how do you do this? Any step by step instructions on which one is the radio file? And does .585 have better battery life? Or should I just go back with .503, because right now im using .540 it has no problems except bad battery life which is really effecting me

I gave some simple instructions on how to do a radio swap here... http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...ml#post6922688

That was using the .540 radio, but just substitute this for .503 as the principal is the same.

That's subjective... it is for some, but not for others.

The only way to find out if it's better for you, is to try it.

alright im trying .503 radio file with .585 and how is .540 radio with .585 the battery life?

I updated with desktop manager is that fine? I replaced the .585 radio file with .503 radio file and then plugged in my bb and backed it up and updated str8 from the manager or do I have to wipe do than install to do it?
