Battery life on the 9900 is adequate; battery life on the Z10 is poor.

I wanted to ask a question!
    Did you say without bis?
My country is in BlackBerry black list! (restrictions) so no bis neither bes!
I want to know without bis I can't use bbm or email accounts?
So I think my phone would be useless!

Can't tell about BBM, I think it needs BIS...
But in the time I used my Bold without BIS, I downloaded Google App from BB-world and I had all my mails pushed to my device via WiFi or 3G (slower when EDGE)... I got BIS last year when I bought my Q10 so when I switch my sim to my Bold, i noticed the difference.

The 9900 will last a 4-5 more hours for me as long as i have good coverage compared to the Z10. The Z10 doesnt seem to eat the battery as bad with low signal but overall it will loose to the 9900 . The Q10 will last a few hours past the 9900 but the screen is an absolute joke to me. Its so dim i have to hold it close so my eyes dont hurt. Other than that the Q10 is an awesome phone except for Yahoo email and the camera lacks to the Z10. My original new 9900 not off an auction site went months without (5-6) before a battery pull was needed. I sold it and the used one i bought is still very good but cant hold a candle to the other one i had. There is definitely nothing wrong with having a 9900 unless you want to play games or a big high gloss screen to idolize

Thanks for replying! I have z10 now but i want to sell it! Is difference between z10 and 9900 battery life? I love qwerty! I was expecting 9900 stay at least 1.5-2 days!!

I'm puzzled by the theory behind a battery drain with the 9900. I get and reply to 50-70 emails daily text and call all day and my phone is 3 years old with the same battery. I easily get a day to a day and a half.

Me too! I thought, if my battery on the Bold starts to work less than a day, I'll buy a new one... never did! It might be in relation with the Auto ON/OFF that I set up (Off from 23:00 to 7:00) so my phone lasts longer. Oh, no games but some internent surfing is in (very little though)! Some times I charge the phone Thursday night and I use it until monday for work... My "freetime"-phone is the Q10 and it has to be charged daily!

    Hello superfly
    It's me again!!!
I need to know what apps can be replaced to 9900 push mail service?
Is there any notifications with these apps?
    I have yahoo mail.

    Thanks again!

I found the opposite - my 9900 was a little worse though Z10 is definitely nothing to write home about
