I'm trying to find an app that will assign a hotkey on the keyboard to the media player. I don't want to use the volume, convenience or other hard keys. I have Quicklaunch 6-tools but these won't allow a keyboard key be assigned to the player.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks. I had looked at their list of supported apps earlier and it didn't list the media player. I'll see if I can contact their support but do you know if it does?

Just downloaded a trial and it doesn't work on OS 7...likely not even OS 6.

If you really want it that bad you can assign it to your convenience key.
Edit* just checked and the best you can do is assign music folder to it. My bad.

That is where it is now but I keep launching it which is why I need a hotkey.

I use Quicklaunch and find it terrific for launching the media player, Pandora, and many other apps.....

But QL doesn't have a hotkey option for the mediaplayer.
