Holy Battery Life Batman!

Upgraded to .267 last night. Noticed a big battery life improvement.


To be honest, I never really had any battery life issues. But last night, I put the phone into Bedside mode (which means for me: no sound notifications other than alarm, no wifi, but radio still on to receive calls) and my 9930 only had 25% battery life. That was at midnight. Woke up and checked my phone at 7:30, had 20% :eek:


I should also note that Batter Saver Mode was turned ON. I'm not entirely sure what this does. I believe it dims the screen, but I've always kept my backlight screen dimmed to 10%, and my phone's screen was turned off when I was asleep anyway, so not sure if Battery Save Mode helped.


I'm guessing that there were huge bugs that drained battery and RIM fixed those and maybe cleaned up the code so the OS runs more efficiently...
