This is doing my nut in and is crippling my typing speed as documented in these threads when I have been trying to find the solution

To summarise, if I want to type "..." I used to hold alt and hit the "m" key 3 times. This no longer works! I now have to press "alt" "m" "alt" "m" "alt" "m" . It is so annoying having to click the alt key every single time. There must be a way to change it back, it is creating errors n really slowing me down

but realistically, how many times do you need to use ...

I am very sure that extra 2 seconds it takes you to type 2 more .'s is deadly

I'm used to he other way n now as a result I'm makin errors. Other keys seem sluggish and not registerin as quick too...

Anyway I need a solution!

.......Press alt left shift. Its like a upper case lock. It won't let go till you hit the left shift again!
