Hi, I have had my bold 9900 for about 3.5 months and still running the os it was shipped with. I guess I just don't trust myself to update it with all the bricking issues people experienced. So, if someone could please advise which update is the best and safest and also the easiest way to do so. I'm clueless and your help will be highly appreciated

What OS are you running, and is that the latest OS from your carrier? You didn't update your profile with anything so it's hard to help. Use Desktop Manager since you're new at updates.
