I currently own the bold 9650. I have an upgrade on my line. But not sure whether i should get the 9930 or the playbook. Sprint is currently in the process of replacing my bold since i took it in to fix my camera and they gave it back to me with a messed up keyboard

I just want some advice. I've played with both devices love them both. But santa can only afford one for now.

get the bold. the playbook is nice but still incomplete but with the bold it would probably be a device you would use more than a tablet anyway.

well... 9900 = brilliant phone.. Playbook = brilliant toy.. Depends on what you want really. However, i would say that the 9650 is not bad, and would work well with a playbook (y) ..
+ you are a girl n da 9900 might be a bit hard 2 use.. Its about preferences really. Playbook has a big screen and is great for browsing (if u hav ur bb with u) Problem is that theres no native bbm, or 3G.. Im pretty sure thats enough

I would get the Bold. You would probably get more use out of that.

My bb has always been amazing besides the wierd camera problems and random reboots (problem cause i've dropped it way too many times in the course of a year.) i want the 9930 just to be a spoiled brat. lol and to have the newest thing out there. I would mostly likely use the playbook mostly for school. I can get on the class websites and programs on my bb but its kinda small.

but the whole no native email or IM would prob be a downer. i thought they wouldve came out with something for that.

Go for the 9930. My last BB was also a 9650 and it's well worth the upgrade. Although, I did have several Android phones between them so my memory of the 9650 has faded somewhat.
