    I'm testing my phone to see if I can replicate the bricking process others are experiencing. So far I've tried testing it only by way of reducing the battery to a low state or dead state so that I attempt a recovery procedure that may work.

    Leave your blackberry with a dead battery constantly and I am sure your blackberry bold is going to be bricked.
