I just purchased a BlackBerry Bluetooth headset, and I checked the device properties saying that the function contains of both handsfree & headset too. But when I played the music from my music library the sound still comes from the phone & not playing via the Bluetooth headset. I also tried downloading some different applications from the App Store but still none of them working.

Need help please. Thank you very much

Which model headset? It must be A2DP compatible, meaning it can accept streaming audio. I think only the HS-700 has this feature.

I bought HS-600. I paired it with my Nokia Xpress Music 5800 & I can play music via the Bluetooth. That's why I don't understand why my BlackBerry can't instead.

As far as I can tell, that headset doesn't support music playback.

But I managed to play the music using the headset from another phone.
