Hi there. I've been using a verizon bold 9930 (unlocked) with Grameenphone in Bangladesh for 3 months now. Only been paying 3 bucks for 1GB/month but I don't have BIS or BES. I was wondering, how secure is a bb without BIS/BES compared with one that has?

Well, you still get the advantage of the physical security on your BB, but when your data leaves your device, its at the mercy of the world wide web!

So basically whatever I send out via text or email won't go through RIM's servers right?
So my blackberry is no different from any run-of-the-mill androids.
Ill get BES once I get my white 9900
