I see very few BB's and I've seen none of the OS7 BB, they are as rare as iPhones in these parts.
Both my cousin and I have one. Then while at work, a student saw me playing with it and said he has the same phone and then showed it to me. Another student told me his mom got one. Also saw another student showing it off listening to music in the halls.
My school is full of blackberry's, I and one of my other friend have the new Bold (I was first :D) I convinced my cousin and my best friend to get one who are both going to switch from iPhones when it gets released on AT&T, a couple of 9810s here as well, my sister as well is going to switch from her 9810 to the Bold on AT&T
Southern Cali- none! I saw a girl with a curve 8330 (yes I acted stuck up and snickered and felt bad for her) ...and a couple people with a bold, but not a bold touch. No where. Mostly droids and Iphones. But I can spot a bb a mile away.
At the University of Victoria, BlackBerries seem to be dominant. I've seen mostly Curves, some Torches, and the new Bold a few times as well.
In Toronto, the BB is still the dominant phone quite handily, and I have seen a lot of 9810's and a few 9900's, but no 9860's. What I can tell you is that high schools are almost entirely BB's, I have 4 kids, 2 in high school, and they each have hundreds of BBM contacts and when asked what is preferred they will tell you that BB is the phone of choice for all the youngsters. My son's friend was the only IPhone dude and he dropped it and cursed it's shattered shell and now sport's a Torch 9810, say's he likes it much better.
I think the **** times curve has been passed and RIM will do very well. As long as they keep pounding ferociously forward.
I'm unique...nobody around here has one. For that matter, haven't seen another os7 device yet. People love mine when they check it out.

Hi buddy!
Da easiest way to catch any 99xx "out on da wild" would be by using WIKITUDE...
Check it out if u haven't downloaded it yet... I have met many people with 99xx that way here in China + HK...
Paz!

Yeah I've seen three bb 99xx devices in the wild! Two of them on the subway and one at radio shack.
I saw quite a few when I was in NYC a few weeks ago, other than that haven't really seen any.
here in venezula not many people have it.... but i got one.... and seems like everyone around me is gonna get one xD
I got to Guelph-Humber and I've seen about 10+ of these phones. My schools about 3k students soo thats pretty good!
I live in Northern VA and work in DC and I haven't see one. Older BB's and lots of iPhones/Androids.
Yup same with me, I did play with one in the sprint store. But the dc-md-nova area is mostly all iphones and older bb's

My colleagues patient had it......I immediately tried to switch patients...hehehehe:cool:
I've had this phone for over am month now and I've only seen ONE other person with this phone. The lack of advertisements is a shame.
I made a thread about this. I don't see too many but I have seen Torches.
Unfortunately, in my iPhone and Evo ridden town... I have yet to see one. :(
Although I have let a few close friends and customers at my work mess around with it, and they all love it to death. You'd think it was the "new" iPhone or something...

Yeah I remember seeing a chart about a year ago that sort of broke it down as follows:
East Coast (NY, DC, etc.) The dominant smart phone was BlackBerry.
Mid West was led by Android.
West Coast was predominantly iPhone.

my cousin had the first one in town, and theres another one at my school. but all of my iphone weilding friends want this bold, because it just blows their iphones away :D
I have not seen one. I'm in the Houston area.
It's a shame, really....I mean when I went to the Verizon store to get mine, they were trying so hard to show me the iPhones instead. Made me think they get zero commissions on selling BBs or something. (???)

Not many people own 9900 in my surroundings in Moscow. But I'm actively promoting this thingy. :) So, two of my colleagues have already decided to buy the new Bold despite being devoted iPhone users. :))))))))) RIMPIRE SPREADS ITS WINGS ALL OVER! :))) Hahahahaha.
Ive seen 9810's 99xx's ..
...just one, tho' I work at a college and a LOT of students are using other BB's
Most of my friends upgraded within the month of the release to the 9900.... This is my first blackberry (Trust me, I use too hate blackberrys) and I am loving it!!
