I just checked verizon's website.... When i went to the phone page i saw "80 results" and got SUPER excited because it was only 79 earlier... however the 9930 still is not there.

Another theory i have, this i hope to be not true. Verizon has a 14 day return policy and if they stop selling the bolds tomorrow both in store and online its the 10th. 14+10=24 and after the 14th day which prevents returns will be the 25th. Thats a logical explanation for a 25th release date.

Might be in the morning, not necessarily at midnight. They usually put out those press releases too, like the Droid 3. So still holding out hope for a press release/online deal in the morning. If not, I'm thinking 17/18th online.

With a phone in the past (dont remember which one) it appeared for sale on the website a week before it hit the store. So if we believe it will hit stores the 18th... this morning would be that one week before.

And VZW has also removed the old Bold from their website.

However this is just one theory, there are several regarding all the release dates

I don't see why VZW still isn't releasing a date now that they don't have the 9650 available anymore. Are they trying not to take away sales from... nothing?

Yea people were also reporting that some sales reps were telling them to check back tomorrow (now today 8/10/2011) because they were waiting on them.

But then others claim they don't even see them in the warehouse

Its hard to sift though all the conflicting information.

LiquidCyber on twitter said he would have the Bold Touch by 8/10 in the warehouse, or something of that sort. So I'm crossing my fingers because that falls in line with the user that called 8/11.

I'm pretty sure the 25th makes the most sense and a lot of people are optimistic it will be before then. If anything they could start online sales on the 17th
