Maybe app related? Try a battery pull or soft reset.

OP, What OS version you are on right now? This may be caused by the OS itself.

How about apps? Do you have apps with auto updates such as BeWeather, Facebook, etc?

What exactly does the error message say? Would it be possible to post a screen shot?

    I found this:
The BlackBerry smartphone shows a certificate error message which shows a broken chain to glquery.blackberry.com and glcollection.blackberry.com. The sites in question are used by Geo-Location Services. The Geo-Location Service assists the GPS. It is designed to approximate the current position of a device by using network interface identifier location coordinates and the associated signal strength to the network entity providing the connection.

There's a little more info on this site:http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/b...rnalId=KB22799

I will try if I can duplicate it. It only happened this morning and one other time I did a battery pull. Have done two more and it doesn't come up.
I'm not on BES or MS Exchange....

    Thanks

It doesn't seem to be specific to the 99xx, as I have also received this error several instances today as well. I am running .723. I am grateful but curious as the link provided indicates some relation to BES, which I have never been a part of. I am on BIS only.

I wonder how this is being associated with my device. Weird!

I agree that it seems to be related to BES, but it seems to be tied in with GPS. Maybe an app? Just thinking out loud...

Also, does there seem to be any loss in functionality when this message pops up?

Expires OCT 5, 2012!!?? Seriously can't mean that message will disappear in October.

Umm your answer should be for the OP. I don't have this issue. I was merely stating that His message said Expires OCT 15, 2012.
