Hey all, I am swapping my SGSII for a 9900, after having a 9900 that bricked (some of you may remember my previous thread) and seeing people saying the new 7.1.0.205 (I think) has "fixed" the bricking issue, that is the first thing I am doing when I get it, updating to the latest 7.1, only problem is, I can't find it! can anyone link it for me please? and would you say it's safe to charge overnight with it? Thanks!

The official 7.1.205 is already out so you can just download Blackberry Desktop Manager and it'll automatically find it and ask if you would like to update.
My first shot at 7.1.205 had horrible battery life, but when I wiped and reinstalled it, the battery life is now the best its even been.
    Go figure :-?

Desktop Manager won't find 7.1.0.205 as an OS upgrade unless you're with T-Mobile USA.

Anyone else will either have to wait for RIM to update their software download site with a link, or head to the Leaked/Beta OS Forum and download it from there.

The link for 7.1.0.205 on the Leaked/Beta OS Forum says file isn't available. Do you have an active link for a download, Phil?

There are numerous links in that thread. Search and you'll find an active one... I did a couple of days ago. I'm away from my PC at the moment, but I believe it was a Multi-Upload link to Hotfile that worked.

Nobody else has, so you'd be pretty unlucky if you did.

They person I am getting it off (Yup, second hand again) got it on a contract, so I am going to see if I can get some paperwork off them, if not they said they would get it repaired on my behalf

Its not even a year old and you ditched it for a Samsung and now you wanna come back to the 9900 again? Lots of free time? If its a software issue then why switch to the Samsung? Anyone else see anything about .205 fixing the bricking issue? I think I would remember seeing that.
