...this will be interesting to see the replies. I don't think I ever had one game installed on my 9900. Then again, I hardly play games on smartphones.

Brick Breaker. For serious gaming, I have a Nintendo 3DS.

To kill time I usually read various blogs and news apps like AP and CBS. CBS app is really well done and embeds videos without having to run browser.

As for games, Three Squared is a very nice game, Xploding boxes, Dots, Tomb Escape, Pixelated, Hangman, Texas Hold Em (king/live/etc) Plumber, ChessB, Citrus Slash.
FallDown was great with 9700 but doesnt work as well or as quick with 9900 since they disabled trackpad.

If you find others, post them here.

Concur. Downloaded a few free games, back when Blackberry was giving them away for free after the infamous outage. Don't play any of them. From time to time, I'll read the news on my BB or peruse Crackberry, using their application. Also use it as a music player when I'm reading.

I play games on my Mac.

In effect, the question has been answered. Other than simple games like Brick Breaker, the 9900-series device really isn't a gaming device.

I haven't played games on my 9930 since whenever and I forgot what I had installed. I have 3 games on my Bold and in which I haven't played in ages, and as another poster mentioned, only downloaded because it was part of the "$100 worth of free apps" thing RIM did after the infamous outage.

I have NEXT Dual Pack, Pinball Deluxe, and BrickBreaker. I'd say IF you want to get games for your Bold, then check out Pinball Deluxe and NEXT.

OR, just buy a Playbook and use that for games as most of my game-playing is done there, though honestly, I myself barely have time to play the games I bought. Maybe a quick round of Angry Birds or Tetris.

His question is not whether it's a gaming device or not, he is just asking what people are playing, or just simply which games are worth trying so he doesn't waste time buying or downloading terrible stuff that are disguised as games.

Refer to my post above, there are still a few games worth playing. Not everything has to be 3D space shooters or angry birds to be fun.

I believe Tetris, Bejeweled and PacMan are still available for purchase as well.
