Fix for battery life
I'm not sure what happened to the sticky for battery issues. Inside there I found the fix for the problem - the default installed Amazon MP3 store app. One user found that, another confirmed it worked for him too. Me too!
Day 1 of my 9900 it was down to 50% by noon, and I didn't even have any calls. No significant apps or other drainers.
I researched all battery related threads. Found lots of suggestions. I did 3 things:
1. Reduced backlight from 100% to 50%
2. Turned off GPS Location
3. Deleted apps I don't use including Amazon MP3 store
Next day my battery lasted all day, down to 70% by bedtime.
I backed out the #1 and #2 changes, same now down to 70% by bedtime.
So it must be the Amazon MP3 (or other) default apps that are installed. I'm really happy with it now, goes all day, plug in at night and I'm good.

My battery is good
Hi, appreciate your suggestion but as I said, when I deleted apps I don't need including the suspect Amazon MP3 store app, my battery problems went away! I'm now experiencing very acceptable all day battery life just have to charge overnight. Can't ask much more than that! I'm goodl.

Yeap. Its all in the apps. I suggest for people to start from 0 apps, then install apps 1 at a time to find the battery hogging ones...

I have the amazon mp3 app and my batt can last all day no problem with light use...about 50% by bedtime. During the work week if I am streaming radio, it'll be down to 20% or so by bedtime.
I always charge overnight and I've noticed my batt life improved over the 5 weeks I've had it so far.
