So I've been trying to utilize shortcut keys. Like holding "a" to lock the screen and using the soft reset button pattern but it doesn't seem to work? I'm running the new vzw software. Do I have to enable this function or what am I missing? Thanks!

    Try this sequence.

Menu key, O (options), spacebar, back key.

    It should enable keyboard shortcuts.

But soft reset should always work.

    Try a battery pull.

Those shortcuts (holding down A, and Alt + Right Shift + Del) should always work, no matter what your settings are.
