    Hello guys!
    I want to know how to set up an email account on 9900 bold without bis or activation password Like bb10 devices?
    Because of BlackBerry restrictions against my country I have no access to bbw neither other services like this one I said

    Essentially you do not. Now that is not to say a third party application can be used such as K-9, but ANY of the apps that need BIS will not work. Email setup, BBM, ect.

    Without BIS :
    ( on WIFI )

    Logicmail for email.
    Whatsapp or Viber for texting.
    Opera Mini for browsing.

    Not the best way to use a BB ,
    but better than nothing at all !

    Pay for BIS data or do what goodayeh stated in his post. This is not a problem nor is your device malfunctioning. It is working as intended.

    My z10 working on wifi well! Is this problem with 9930 too?

    Z10 does not need a specific BB data service, it uses standard smartphone data, the 9930 requires a BB data service to function. Once again, nothing is broke, nothing is malfunctioning.
