Interesting when compared side-by-side. I almost gasped when I realized how small my 9700 display is compared to a quarter! Wow! I need a bigger phone.
2.4" = BlackBerry Bold 9700
2.8" = BlackBerry Bold 9900
3.2" = BlackBerry Torch 9800
3.5" = iPhone 4G
4.0" = Motorola Atrix
4.3" = HTC Inspire
4.5" = Samsung Infuse
Interesting perspective.. I can tell you are anxiously waiting for the 9900 from this :P From 2.8 to 3.2 really doesn't seem much different, not to mention you are getting an entire keyboard with it.. I am pretty happy about the screen size, the torch works for most people and this is really close to the same size with pretty good dpi. Interesting post [:

Nice work, I've been looking for something just like this. I keep bouncing back and forth between my 9780 and my Torch, this gives me some perspective on how the 9900 will fit into the mix!

That is really cool. The difference in 2.4 to 2.8 does seem much more significant in that view then just saying it's only a .4" difference.
I'd bet the 2.8" screen will show as much text as the 4.3" screen does with its software keyboard open. Something to consider.
The 9900/9930 seems like a really sweet device, and if it had a release date within the next 2-3 weeks i'd really consider it. However I just can't get away from the amazing specs on the Evo3d. =/ I just wonder if my new job in the IT-Networking field will require me to have a BB, I know the 3-4 people I know that work in the same building all have BBs.
