is it possible? when clicking on the long notifications bar i get a list of new emails and calender entires. email is fine but i really don't need to know that xmas day is coming up!

haha that's actually really funny! I love every notification in the notification bar as well, but I also wish calendar could be disabled. Unfortunately I don't think this is possible.

I think it only has a notification if the event has a reminder. Do you have a reminder that xmas is coming?

hmn, does the "long notifications bar" only show you your emails/sms/calender, or does it also show you FB/twitter stuff?

oh and, does it also support 3rd party apps? or only native stuff?

the bar shows emails until they are read and then they go. same applys to txt messages. the calender entries however stay even if they are read or not. the uk holidays are taken from outlooks list of uk holidays and am happy to report they are not my personal reminders
