    So I've loved my Playbook for a while now, and I came across a 9900 that I got for a good deal, so I pulled the trigger without thinking about it.

    The problem is that I'm on Straight Talk. I had no idea nothing would work without being connected to a BIS or something? I foolishly thought that I could just edit the APN settings and call it good, so I guess I'm stuck without data or MMS if I want to use the Bold on ST? Or am I missing something?

    I dont think you will be able to use the 9900 on straight talk. You need a special plan with BIS. Best bet is call them

    Just called them, and they said no. Looks like I need to sell this thing and try and find another phone...
