The PM took a hoax call yesterday and pleasingly referred to his mobile as "my Blackberry" rather than "my phone" on a couple of occasions in the subsequent press conference. I'm sure I saw him pictured with a 9900 just a few weeks ago.

Same thing this morning with Tom Costello talking about our wicked storm here. He referred to "reading the warnings off my BlackBerry" and he proceeded to do so.
Kinda nice to hear when you hear it!

Actually he has a Z30. That's what he told on an interview. Don't know about his 9900

True but you still have to consider that the BlackBerry may be what his company provided to him and not his own personal device. But it's good either way that people with public visibility are using them and calling them what they are.
