Why does the 9900 or 9810 cost more than the Playbook? The PB has two cameras, a 7 inch screen, and a faster processor?

How much do the radio components cost in these cells anyway?

    Just wondering.

P.S. I guess we pay a hefty premium for the miniturization of components...

The Playbook is a Tablet device, with no Radio, it only has Wifi / bridge

The 9900 / 9810 are full fledged devices with a radio, wifi, touch screen, etc.

Basicly they need to cramp everything plus the radio into less than a quarter of the same space. Designing small is expensive and the hi res screens are probably not cheaper than the 7" for the PlayBook.

Also, they have to price them like this as it is currently "normal" on the general market.
