Thought I would convert a DVD to a format that could be read on the 9930 and see what the video quality looked like...
...3G worked but was of a quality similar or less than VHS.

Read that the 9930 supported MP4 so I converted the DVD to that and can confirm it's HD quality ( looks absolutely excellent ) - however NO AUDIO.

Has anyone attempted to do this and what would be the point of having the 9930 be able to display MP4 but lack the ability to play the audio file attached to the MP4?

You didn't have your audio parameters set prior or your volume was turned down. Works fine on our end.

Thanks bold9930, you were right - I failed to set the audio parameters correctly - it's fine now....
...MP4 looks VERY good!
