Car charging issue with BB9900
BB 9900 running 7.1. Working fine. :)
Biggest issue: charging it in a car stays even after lots of testing and reading forums.
Using the original wall charger (small flat black thing) - fine.
Using any of half a dozen USB cable with my Thinkpad or any other computers USB - fine.
Where fine means- theres a two-beep-sound, shortly two technical signs show up in the small battery in the uppermost left corner (the look like somewhat like "C B"), then the orange flash shows pulsating.
Using any of 3 car charger adapters for 12V with any of my USB cable in meanwhile 5 cars -theres the beep, but the "C B" does not show and sometimes the blue box stating "not enough energy" - but not always.
All of the car chargers say they support 1A.
All of the three car chargers work with my 9800 just fine.
->Every component works fine, just not together.
So cut a USB cable in half to find out about the juices:
While plugged into a Laptop: red - 5V, black earth, green 0V, white 0V
While plugged into any of the car chargers: red - 5V, black earth, green 2,7V, white 2.0V (?!). Then I used my tweaked cable and cut off the green and white cable, so 5V, black earth, green 0V, white 0V but: the 9900 would not charge either.
Maybe a hardware geek may help here - how does this decision of 'BB 9900 likes the charger, or does not like it' really work? Are there some volts needed on the green / white like some Android phones need it?
Any hint appreciated (please just not tell my to buy another charger).
Thanks!!!
