    whoa... no one should ever be formatting a SIM card! Not that you would have the equipment to do so anyway..

    To answer the OP's question, you technically could use a bolds sim in an iphone 4, but you'd have to cut it down.. the bold used a mini sim while the iphone 4 used a micro sim.

    It would be best to just get the micro sim if you are switching.. and if you need to switch back and forth between both, still get the micro sim and use an adapter to enlarge it for your bold. Cutting a sim down is a fragile process.. but it can be done. Sim cutters are also available.

    You have to trim the sim card from BlackBerry Bold because the sim tray in iPhone 4s is smaller and is for micro sim.

    Safest to get the micro sim and use the adapter. The adapter is about $10 for the full set in the CB store.
