I need to buy a replacement LCD/digizter and there's 4 versions. I have a local retail device from Telstra and I don't want to open and dissemble the device just to figure out which version of the part to order as that's just a pain as I'll need to reassemble the device to use it until I get the LCD in the mail to replace it. So its like double the work.

I'm not asking how to do it. I'm asking if there's an alternative way so I don't have to disemble and resemble twice.

Instead you have to check on back of LCD or on connector ribbon.

To be 100% sure, you can just take apart your 9900. It's easy.
