i have a bold 9930 from verizon and i was use my friends 9900 from tmobile and i notice that it was much more solid and well built the keyboard didnt feel as i was clicking into a hollow device it just seemed very solid. also the keyboard lighting it seemed to look much more matte and the keyboard light looked alot nicer i switched mine to the same settings couldn't compare it
I've compared my old AT&T Bold 9700 to others' 9700 from AT&T and they've all been slightly different. For instance, my keyboard was slightly crooked but never affected my typing so I didn't really are.
Need to inspect your phone before you buy. Some have written off the Mexico factories as bad producers. My current 9900 is from Mex 4 and has so far been okay while others' haven't.
