Camera stopped working...help please!

I have the 9900, recently upgraded to 2530 or something like that using Blackberry Desktop, very routine upgrade. Now, I noticed my camera is not taking pictures!!! I click the shutter and it makes the sound and even flashes but pictures are not being stored or saved..nothing.
Lot of the older pictures are not showing up in my gallery...only show up as a white square. This phone has just recently started to give me problems never had a blackberry to give me so much trouble and don't know what else to do. So can the Crackberry Geniuses please suggest something..anything?
