    Has anyone been able to buy one straight-up without a contract at Best Buy or FutureShop?

    I know some Rogers Plus stores are willing to, but I've got a Gift Card to these stores that I'd like to use lol.

    I wonder if FutureShop is more willing since employees are on commission (last I heard).

    I found one FS that said it's possible to buy one off contract, but I'll wait til the Bell (unbranded) one comes. They only have Rogers right now.

    As far as I know, Best Buy and Future Shop only sell new devices on new contracts. I ran into that issue when buying the Torch last year.
