Hello all, new user here. It's time I upgrade my handy dandy 2008 Nokia E71 to something snappier. I want a full physical qwerty vertical phone. The 9900 is nice, but with the upcoming release of 10 I don't know if it's a good investment. I have a few questions.
- Should I get the 9900 now or wait until after Jan. 30?
- Do I need to get data service with my provider AND bis or can I just get bis? (unlocked phone, no forced data plan). What's the cost for bis?
- Will the 9900 support the new OS?
- Will there be new hardware keyboard phones with the new OS if not?
- I understand it has touchscreen (which I don't like), is it imperative it's used?
- Any other full querty phone you recommend (I don't like the E72)?

get what you want most and you need a bis plan the 9900 only supports 7.1 but is still being supported though out bb 10

9900 is agreat phone,,,,,,it all depends on your budget whether you wait or not...........Yes you need a data plan if your phone is unlocked means you could use a provider of your choice......the new os will not be compatible , only bb10 phones,......they will also release a keyboard version later in the year.......
