Simple....... type this in your BB9900 browser: http://whitney2go.mobi
(you should see a Whitney Bank mobile sign-in page if it works)

I can access the link from my PC... even my wife's old BBcurve on OS5.

But, all I can get on my BB9900 is a pop-up saying:
"A communication error has occurred. The server may be busy, please try again later. If the problem persists contact your service provider."

    Any comments/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!!

Looks like the server of the Whitney Bank is denying the connection for some reason. Call your bank about the issue !!

I did early this AM...... they are supposed to call back.

    Now the humor...........
They have 3 methods of mobile banking
    1 - Text Banking
    2 - Mobile Web Browser
3 - Mobile App (only avaiable for iphone and itouch users)
    Whitney Bank: Mobile Banking

    So I call Customer Service---eBanking
After explaining to the rep that I couldn't access the mobile web site (whitney2go.mobi) .... the rep told me to simply download the app. I explained to the rep that the app is only available for iphones and as indicated that I am trying to use the Mobile Browser (whitney2go.mobi). After mentioning whitney2go.mobi for about the 3rd-4th time the rep finally found something about it and figured out what I was talking about. She said "I thought the only way to access mobile banking was with the app...I never heard of the whitney2go.mobi before, I have an iphone".

This was my tech assistance. Still waiting on a call back from someone that's supposed to know more.

I am more confident in getting help here than from the bank.

Still strange that my wife's OS5 Curve & Playbook will but the 9900 will not.

Downloaded the Opera mini browser....... bingo.... it works... no problem.

Hate to have a browser downloaded just to access 1 mobile web site.
