    Hi

I just started using a 9900 moving from a 9700, i noticed the browser application is always open, this seems to be different from os 5.0. Is there a way to exit the application ? does the open browser affect battery life?

    regards

I think it just always shows up. Easiest way to close the browser is to just hold the esc key. If you do that it's closed, but it might still show up there anyway. Kinda like how BBM is always open.

Part of the browser stays active for benefit of push sevices, updates, email etc. But the internet browser itself is not open.
