    brand new 9900 plugged it in to charge night before, morning it was dead tryed reloading software new batt does not work...nothing works whats the next step?

    There was a known battery defect on some Bolds. Call Rogers and they should help you out.

    Same thing happened to me. But I'm on T-Mobile USA. I took it back got a new one.
