    My mac wi-fi router is on the 2nd floor and my Bold will connect to it on the ground floor (only 10% signal strength) but not in the basement. But my mac notebook will connect at 100% in the basement so it doesn't seem to be a building structural issue. Any suggestions?

    Try either b or g, up it to 5 Ghz if possible, change the channel?
