If you pause it around the 1:25 mark, you'll notice a little "N" symbol in the upper right. I would guess that is for NFC ???
It looks good overall. I think the size is right, and the bigger keyboard looks awesome. My main concerns with it are battery life (1250 mah, c'mon man!) and the ability to upgrade the OS.
Debating on running my Bold 9650 for another year and getting the QNX version in 2012, or getting the Bold Touch..... If OS7 vid that Kevin puts up looks promising, I'll probably get it.

During our Q&A session I asked about the battery... they seemed pretty confident that battery life would be solid despite the battery being smaller. I'm guessing it'll go through a day no problem... but not stretching the life to two days.

Thanks for the hands-on impressions, Kevin
CX tweeted about the 9900 battery life recently, and he believes it to be 'comparable to the 9700, and a huge improvement over the 9000'
That's good enough for me... can't wait to get my hands on one of these bad boys!
So just curious, does this thing still have the "pages/tabs" (can't think of the real name right now) that are on os6 that everyone seems to dislike?
Convienence keys on both sides or one? I haven't looked yet.
Also a little off topic, but how does kevin post to the blogs from there? Does he type the articles for crackberry on his phone and upload it? From the playbook? Or laptop??

After the botched PlayBook launch, I'm in high hopes for this new Bold. If it launches smoothly it will do wonders for RIMs return as a serious smartphone company.
