For those using OneMediaHub as a workaround to cloud-sync multiple calendars, today I received the following email from OneMediaHub announcing end-of-life for their legacy calendar sync service, meaning this workaround will no longer be available to you.
ONEMEDIAHUB CALENDAR END OF LIFE
Dear OneMediaHub user,*
The OneMediaHub calendar sync legacy service has reached its end of life and will no longer be offered or supported in future versions of the product starting with OneMediaHub Version 18.1.
How will you be impacted?
The Android and iOS mobile apps as well as the Windows computer app will no longer sync calendars and reference to calendar will be removed from these apps. Calendar will also be removed from*the Web app for all users except for users who have at least one new calendar event within the past 12 months or within the next 12 months. For the small percentage of existing users with recent*calendar events, they will still be able to view their calendar within the Web app, however, it will no longer be synched to their devices. In future versions of the product (e.g. OneMediaHub Version 19),*calendar will also be removed from the Web app for all users.
What can you do?
You may wish to export your existing calendar. In such a case, the following options may be offered:
** *• If synching calendar to Outlook via the Windows app, you may export your calendar from Outlook
** *• If synching calendar to your mobile device only, you may be directed to third party 'calendar export' mobile apps available in respective stores on Android and iOS (e.g. iCal Import/Export CalDAV in Google*Play)
** *• As a last resort, you may contact tech support to get your calendar exported and sent to you.
*
We are available for any questions that you may have on this topic.
Onwards and upwards,
Funambol Support Team
A useful heads up, thank you for posting.
I'm not clear whether this will prove an issue for those using the OS7 OneMediaHub app to sync with third party cloud servers. Time will tell ....
I have been using that app for several years to sync (contacts, notes, files etc.) with my memotoo cloud account. To be honest, I don't normally use it to sync my calendar(s), as multiple calendars just don't work on the 9900 with BIS (so I just use a Google Calendar workaround) but it would a shame to lose the option.
I also tried connecting to gmx.com without any tangible results. So far, I'm stuck with the via browser mail access.
I switched off everything I could find considering those additional security measures in gmail. Still no go. Also, connectivity to my gmx is as well failing. Looks like I am stuck with the via browser acces to my mail for now.
Have you tried POP3? The last time I used LogicMail, I found that was the only really reliable way to connect to GMX.
FYI: I'll make any necessary additions and clarifications to the original posts this weekend.
Yeah, I tried both IMAP and POP3. Besides I thought that even with the working service books my carrier somehow could block connection through TCP IP for LogicMail and SmartMail, so I also tried connecting through Wi Fi only, no luck though.
Gmx com settings:
username - full email address
protocol type - pop3 address - pop.gmx.com (port 110) do not check ssl transfer
smtp address - mail.gmx.com (port 587) do not check ssl transfer
Try, it works perfect.
It still mercilessly fails to verify for both mail clients. Could the firmware version cause such a mess? I run the 7.1.0.1066 bundle 2879 from Verizon
Change settings, save them and then verify
On an aside, I tried to use Line. I installed it, entered my info, and waited while the Bold said "loading."
It just kept on like that so I uninstalled. Can anyone confirm if line does work, or did I prematurely delete it?
The Guide is definitive. Reality is frequently inaccurate.
Yes, it works but not stable. Sometimes you can not connect to the server...
Did everything by your book. It went to 27% and still failed
Sorry, Art3m3, then I don't know how to help you.
oh...I forgot about service books for smartmail.
In my service books for my operator books for smartmail have been already included
try that manual maybe it helps - http://www.blackberry.ua/forum/showthread.php?t=89
Wow, that was a long page. Not for the weak of heart. And on a Russian page?? No wonder why folks go to iPhone because it "just works"...

Ukrainian page :)
Alright, after beating the dead horse for a while, I finally managed to verify to my gmx account. I will leave the config that was successful here if anyone struggles with it as I did. I used pop3 server with port 110, and smtp with port 25 instead of port 587, both without ssl as mr. She1k indicated. BBR Ukrainian forums helped me to figure out what was blocking the verification, nod to She1K again. https://www.lifewire.com/what-are-th...ttings-1172152 here is a step by step config that I used as a reference to how I found port 25. So, thanks a lot to everyone who participated in my journey to make smartmail work. Problem solved.
Updates added with respect to each of these apps. Thanks everyone!
I'll have to try this .... I think I usually install from the SD card.
Hello!
This is a smartmail keygen. Maybe it gonna be useful for someone
Cool! I'll add another 'tip' link when I get home tonight.
Client for Instagram no longer exists
I've updated the listing. Last I heard, it still works if you have it, but it's no longer available in BlackBerry World.
Here followeth the usual plea for the Client for Instagram OTA.... If you have a copy of the app, and know how to create an OTA, there are a lot of people who would like one!
