Ok, the ridicule. If you manage to transfer your mail from gmail to gmx, and then poll your mail from gmx to your startmail, be ready that it may happen so that all your mail history will be polling to your device. That will cause a temporary block on your gmx account and a ticket to the support. As I'm a noob with smartmail, I experienced it the hard way. Be wise and learn by other's mistakes!

I've updated the listing. Last I heard, it still works if you have it, but it's no longer available in BlackBerry World.

Here followeth the usual plea for the Client for Instagram OTA.... If you have a copy of the app, and know how to create an OTA, there are a lot of people who would like one!
Unfortunately I do not have it. I have been searching for it to no avail...

It's called "Client for Instagram" by the Jared Company. A recent version is required, because the app received a major overhaul about a year ago.

Shuswap – You might want to tweak the entry for BeWeather, based on the recent revelation that new licence activations are not being honoured

The free version continues to work well for me

There is a weather java midlet that works fine, not very polished (eg. does not display the weather on the background), I am using this for years, this and some other midlets : midlets.eu - gega , some minus: you put manually the cities, there is some tech info about how to add cities, I m fan of sunclock (from that page) too.

Like Art, I use the system music app. The UI is nicely thought out, it plays any format I've thrown at it, and it has pre-set EQ settings (although it does not have a user adjustable graphic EQ). I recall trying out a couple of alternatives (MMG Player, Mobiola xPlayer Lite) a couple of years back and not being impressed.

Overall, IMO the 9900's sound (through headphones) is very clear, but the treble can be a little too much if you don't pair it up with the right headphones.

Can you open them with Calibre on a laptop/desktop? If so, you could re-save them and try again.

I'm a BIG E-Book reader. I have over 1100+ books in my Kindle Library besides all the other E-Books I have loaded on my systems in Calibre. Since I started my adventure w/ the 9900, I've tried the most popular readers including YReader Epub Reader. My personal choice is to use MobiPocket Reader or the Kindle App. I hated swapping back over to MOBI formated ebooks, but both apps work well. I even installed the old eReader app on my 9900 as well. It still works fine, but it's a little slow loading up when you have several E-Books added. MobiPocket allows you to invert the screen if you prefer "Night Reading Mode," like I do but both the MobiPocket Reader & the Kindle app work great. I've just finish my 12th book I've read on my 9900 last night. Just my $0.02. ;-) Take care.
