Make sure to let me know whether Facebook Messenger works. I set up a test account to make sure the Facebook app works, but I have no friends hahaha.
Just received a message from family on Facebook Messenger app (v.1.1.294) so I can confirm it works on my 9900.
Funny that, I almost deleted it the other day as I couldn't see myself ever using it

funny, I tried really hard to find apps on my 9900 and this was pretty much all I got? (Not including the "built-in" BB ones)...

I was able to update Twitter, FB, Viber and others, thanks! But the BlackBerry World link is not working. Is it possible to update it? Thanks!

If I understand correctly, I didn't put in BlackBerry World links, because people can just open BlackBerry World and search for the apps. If I'm misunderstanding the question, let me know.

    BlackBerry Navigator https://appworld.blackberry.com/webs...countrycode=GB
for those in the UK*, looking for voice guided turn-by-turn navigation, this uses TomTom road maps and in my experience works very well - indeed I much prefer it for navigation over the BB Maps app on my Q10

*I'm not sure whether it works elsewhere in the world
Unfortunately in Poland it doesn't work. But I have a question about this BB Navigator. Has it an up-to-date maps(I'm asking about updates, new roads, etc.)?

It downloads TomTom maps on the move, so presumably the maps are update. I don't know where the maps are distributed from.
Personally, I've rarely encountered problems (reliability, map accuracy etc.) when using BlackBerry Navigator on my Bold 9900, and in my experience it has proved more reliable than BB Maps on my Q10. On the other hand, I'm not much of a road warrior (most of my commuting is done by train), so I have a relatively low use rate for navigation software

    Hey, thanks for the list!

I can't find DI Radio or Flixster in BlackBerry World. Do you have links? It may be that they are not available in Canada? Idk.

Strange why those don't come up in a BBW search. I've had them in My World for a long time though.

    Try these links:

    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/2180 (Flixster)

    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/50561 (DI Radio)

It's likely that the apps are pulled for everyone except people who already have them. Since they still work, we should look for OTAs. I'll search around after work.

In case of Flixter I have "Unavailable for this device" But its not big deal - it has contenet for US, UK, Canada. Not for rest of world.

But DI Radio I can download.

So that Call Blocker App I was using turned out to be bust! It suddenly said "Free Trial Ended, Upgrade to Pro Version" so I thought I would, clicked it and there was no Price or Button to click after that. Kinda sucks because I will need a blocker app, eventually.

Added DI Radio. There's already a disclaimer on the working apps list saying that music streaming services are regional. I think that the (EC) at the end of the unknown item message I get in BlackBerry World might mean "English Canada"? IDK. :P

Okay... here's a weird one. I was trying the links on my laptop, but when I try them from Tapatalk on the Bold 9900, they take me to the apps in BlackBerry World. So I'll post your links to the apps beside them in the list.

That FileScout app is actually very nice. I only installed FileScout Lite version, but there is a trial of the Pro also available which has a lot more features. Never heard of this app before but I definitely like it!

+1 for FileScout, in addition to it's enhanced file handling capabilities,
it can also provides a screen capture option,
plus has a rather neat WiFi file sharing facility that can be a handy way to interact with files on your 9900 (when you don't have a USB cable to hand) from your PC/Mac browser

More info on the developers FileScout home page: http://www.emacberry.com/bbfilescout.html
